October 2015 Snapshots

Home buyers remain active across Metro Vancouver despite a reduced supply of homes for sale.

The Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver reports that residential property sales in Metro Vancouver last month were 36.2 per cent above the 10-year sales average for the month. The above graph clearly shows that not only is this a seller's market, but a strong one at that! The market is extremely favourable for anyone looking to sell their home in the near future.

The North Vancouver market specifically has demonstrated a 42% increase in the number of detached homes sold over October 2014. The dollar amount that these properties sold for has also seen a substantial increase of approximately 34%.

The city of West Vancouver has seen an astounding 62% increase in the number of detached homes sold over October of last year!

If you are interested in a certain city, or type of dwelling, and how it is trending in the current market, I would love to provide you with the specifics.

Warmly,
Kate
