Now that Remembrance day is over, many of us are slowly gearing up and preparing ourselves for the holiday season ahead. This is a season of celebration, love, and, most importantly, giving!
There are numerous local organizations and charities who are in need of volunteers as well as financial contributions, not only during the holidays, but all year long. It may be difficult to decide where your time and/or financial donations will go this year. I have included a link to both local North Shore charities and Greater Vancouver organizations. I found these links very useful in that they not only highlight who benefits from each charity but also what they are in need of at present, and what type of community involvement each partakes in.
If there is a specific cause or group you hope to help out this year, please do! I'm sure they would appreciate anything you have to offer.
